Roland VS Instruments Bundle 2020.01
Roland has been making extraordinary synthesizers since the early 1970s. These highly collectable instruments are still used by topnotch producers the world over. Unfortunately, it is virtually impossible to get your hands on one of these historic instruments… until now! Roland PLUG-OUTS are digital versions of their classic hardware synths.

With the re-issue of these synths, in the new PLUG-OUT collection of virtual synths, Roland has made it possible for everybody to benefit from the sonic sweetness these instruments provide. In this course, expert synthesist Rishabh Rajan dives into these amazing re-issues, explains them top to bottom and teaches how they work!

The SH-2 VS Software Synthesizer is a total reproduction of the classic SH-2 synthesizer from 1979. Renowned for its raw vintage tone, the SH-2’s dual VCO plus sub oscillator configuration dishes out devastatingly fat basses, edgy leads and wild effects. Designed for SYSTEM-1 as well as Mac or PC hosts, the new SH-2 uses Analog Circuit Behavior technology to faithfully recreate the warm, rich sound of the original with a level of authenticity that can only come from Roland.

The PROMARS VS Software Synthesizer is a complete reproduction of the rare and powerful PROMARS synthesizer first released in 1979.

The SH-101 VS Software Synthesizer is a complete reproduction of the iconic SH-101 – right down to the fine details and odd quirks that make it one of the most popular classic synthesizers of all time. Based on Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology, it not only reproduces the SH-101’s legendary sounds, but faithfully recreates the very behavior of its analog circuitry – all with a level of authenticity that could only come from the company that created the original.

The SYSTEM-100 VS Software Synthesizer is a modern reproduction of the now-legendary semi-modular monosynth from 1975. It integrates the features of the original Model 101 Synthesizer and Model 102 Expander units, resulting in an incredibly fat and uniquely versatile two oscillator monosynth with modular routing capabilities.

Roland VS JUPITER-8. Named after the King of Planets, there are few synthesizers in history more legendary than the Roland JUPITER-8. Introduced in 1980 as the ultimate polyphonic and programmable live performance Synthesizer, the Roland JUPITER-8 is capable of some of the richest, most powerful tones and textures imaginable.

Roland JUNO-106 VS: More than a simulation, the ACB-powered Roland JUNO-106 PLUG OUT Synthesizer is a complete component-level recreation of the original 6-voice instrument, all the way down to the classic Roland 80017A VCF/VCA integrated circuit! And while hardware JUNO-106 synths disappear as quickly as they are offered for sale in collector's circles, the Roland JUNO-106 PLUG OUT is available to members now on Roland Cloud!

Roland D-50 VS: Based on Roland’s DCB technology, the Roland D-50 brings the definitive synth sound of the 80’s to your tracks in a fresh new way!

The Roland TR-808 is one of the most revered and sought-after electronic musical instruments of all time—and its influence only continues to grow. New musical genres make heavy use of the 808, with some utilizing it as the main instrument and defining sound of the style. Using our proprietary Analog Circuit Behavior technology, we’ve painstakingly recreated the original analog circuits that are the essence of the TR-808’s distinct sound. All the nuance and detail are accounted for resulting in a living, breathing Roland TR-808 for your DAW. This software adaption not only sounds and acts true-to-life, but it injects new and exciting enhancements into the classic 808 formula.

Roland Cloud's TB-303 Software Bass Synthesizer takes the classic instrument to the next level. Utilizing the same ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) modeling as the Roland JUNO-106, JUPITER-8, and others from our Legendary series, the virtual TB-303 captures the hypnotic tone of the original hardware and forms the perfect complement to the TR-909 and other instruments in Roland Cloud.
