Black Octopus Sound Basement Freaks presents Trash Cans
Basement Freaks has become a household name over here at Black Octopus Sound, and we’re stoked to present his 50th sample pack! Trash Cans contains his filthiest, dirtiest, trap samples yet and is ready to transform your tracks into some of the meanest beats in the game. You won’t find any garbage in this pack! Also for this level of celebration he has added bonus content for you to use in your productions!

Inside are smashing drums, including an 808 clone Drum Machine, intimidating top loops and menacing 808s. A daunting collection of tight percussive instruments, with Blocks, Bells, Shakers, Guiro and Tamborine loops, perfect to fill out any mix. Bright samples from an original Chinese tam-tam (gong) from Wuhan. Massive music loops using Flutes, Quica’s, Bells and a Behringer DeepMind Synthesizer for some uniquely crafted arpeggios.

This pack is also loaded also organic sound effects recorded straight from Basement Freaks kitchen (and yes that includes his trash can) for the most incredibly distinctive trap beats! Mixing it up using traditional recording methods but also throwing in some outboard effect gear such as TC M2000, Elektron Analogue Heat, ELX Big Muff, RAT2 and many more Stompboxes. These sounds were then processed into the powerful samples that Basement Freaks is loved for.

This pack contains a fusion of not only gear, but also analogue and organic sounds, giving you a unique take on Trap, and an arsenal of loops and one shots to suit a variety of genres. These samples will break down your boundaries and shake up your production with its unrelenting grimy sounds, so don’t waste this opportunity to get Basement Freaks top-notch percussion into your tracks!
