Splice Originals Sunshine Vibes

For this pack, we teamed up with the multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and music producer, Stuart Bogie. He recorded tenor, alto, and baritone sax, as well as flute at his studio in Brooklyn, NY. With the intention of establishing a sound reminiscent of classic 1970s soul, these ideas were layered with Rhodes, Wurlitzer, piano, guitar, bass, and a vintage Arp Odyssey.

The sounds in this pack were inspired by the likes of legends Roy Ayers, Isaac Hayes, Lonnie Liston Smith, and Minnie Riperton, among others of the time. You’ll find stabby horns, swelling electric pianos, crunchy organs, and warm tones throughout. These samples are the sounds of summer sunshine rooftop hangs.
